BYOB: Build your own Budget in 6 Easy Steps

(and get a chance to win a glass of wine)

Do you have a budget?

Do you know how to make a budget and want to improve your budgeting skills?

Or do you find yourself out of cash each month?

If the words “budget” and “budgeting” are words you avoid because you find the idea boring or frightening or limiting, we’re here to change your perspective.

There are many reasons why people don’t want to build their own budget. Some people believe that they aren’t earning enough to meet their expenses when the actual problem is that they are not managing their spending. Other people may have extra cash and believe that budgeting will not have any impact on their finances and financial future.

For salary earners or stay-at-home mums, creating a spending plan or a budget helps you get out of debt, save for your kid’s education or for a holiday or even for retirement.

If you’re a freelancer, this will help you manage your income and expenses, so you can focus on your gig instead of worrying about whether you have income for the next week or month!

If you want to improve your budgeting skills or you simply want to learn how to build your own budget, then this workshop is for you.

In this highly interactive workshop, you will learn:

  • How to build your own budget to help you achieve your goals;
  • How to improve your spending habits; and
  • How to save effectively for the important things in your life

This will be a hands-on event where our speakers will act as facilitators and guide you in creating your very own budget. At the end of the session, the facilitators will award a glass of wine to the person who made the best effort to build a budget.

*Nibbles will be provided. Wines by the glass will be sold at $5 each at the venue*
