New - Law SIG: Inaugural Event

Know Your Rights: How to Avoid or Resolve Tenant & Landlord Disputes

Need to understand your rental contract better - who should pay for leaks and fixtures?

What do you do when you are faced with a rental property dispute?

Come join us if you wish to know more about Singapore laws affecting your rental property, your rights and responsibilities as a tenant and the remedies available to you.

This is the first of the newly-formed Law SIG, chaired by Aishah Winter and Elena Piana. The Law SIG will invite speakers and experts to discuss legal issues, to help women seek advice and fair resolution on legal matters.

About the Speaker

Radika Mariapan, Managing Director of Fidelis Law Corporation

Radika’s dispute resolution experience covers a diverse range of issues in the Subordinate Courts, High Court, the Court of Appeal and the Singapore Mediation Centre, and also arbitration under the rules of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators (SIArb) and the Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC).

Radika also has particular experience in adjudication under the Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Act, as well as applications to the High Court and Court of Appeal to set aside adjudication determinations made under the said Act.

In addition, Radika is adept in advisory and drafting work, including reviewing and drafting contract documentations, and has advised on regulatory compliances, risk management and dispute avoidance for projects.
