Are you a visionary leader with a passion for empowering professional women and driving impactful programmes? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Programmes Director.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and oversee the Programmes team, consisting of the Leadership, Mentoring, Coaching, and Outreach chairpersons, and their respective teams.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive programmes strategy aligned with our organisation's mission and goals.
  • Create and curate a diverse range of programmes and initiatives that support professional women's career and personal development goals.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and subject matter experts to design and deliver high-quality programmes and events.
  • Ensure the seamless execution of programmes, managing logistics, resources, and timelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of programmes, collecting feedback and making data-driven improvements.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive culture within the Programmes team, encouraging innovation and continuous learning.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging topics, and best practices in professional development to inform programme design and content.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including speakers, facilitators, and industry leaders.
  • Work closely with the Events team to align programmes with event calendars and maximise member engagement.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team to promote programmes effectively and ensure strong attendance and participation.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Proven experience in programme development, leadership, or related roles, preferably in a nonprofit or professional development setting.
  • Strong strategic thinking and planning skills, with the ability to translate organisational goals into impactful programmes.
  • Excellent leadership and team management abilities, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and inspire diverse audiences.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Knowledge of professional development topics, coaching methodologies, and mentoring practices.
  • Collaborative mindset, working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve shared goals.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with external partners, speakers, and subject matter experts.
  • Data-driven approach, using metrics and feedback to evaluate programme effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
