The Vice President plays a critical leadership role in PrimeTime, working closely with the President and the Board to drive the strategic vision, operational excellence, and overall success of the organisation. The Vice President is responsible for overseeing various aspects of organisational management and actively participating in decision-making processes.
Your Main Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead, develop and execute the organisation's strategic plan, ensuring alignment with the mission and long-term goals; fostering a positive and inclusive organisational culture; identify emerging trends and opportunities,
- Organisational Management: Supervise and provide guidance to board members and their teams, promoting teamwork
- Board Engagement and Governance: Collaborate with the President and various key Board members to support effective board governance and ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Partnerships: Developing and nurturing strategic partnerships to support PrimeTimes mission. Responsible for establishing and maintaining strong relationships with external partners and driving collaborative initiatives to create value for both parties.
- Support the president: In the smooth and effective management of the operations ensuring that the activities of the board meet the goals and deputise for her in her absence
- Attend the monthly Board meetings, 2nd Thursday events, Coffee Connections, and support as many other SIG events as possible to stay on the pulse of the PrimeTime community
- Assist with succession planning for this role. If you are unable to complete the board term, you are responsible for identifying and grooming a successor for this role
