Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of volunteers.
- Coordinate volunteer onboarding, training, and scheduling.
- Maintain volunteer records and ensure accurate documentation of volunteer hours and activities.
- Foster a positive and supportive volunteer culture by recognising and appreciating volunteers' contributions.
- Collaborate with the Board to identify volunteer needs and match volunteers with appropriate roles.
- Organise volunteer appreciation events and recognition programs.
Qualifications and Attributes:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Ability to work well with diverse groups of volunteers and stakeholders.
- Experience in volunteer management or coordination preferred.
- Passion for our organisation's mission and a genuine interest in engaging volunteers.
- Proficiency in using volunteer management software and digital platforms.
