Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a difference? We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Volunteer Coordinator.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement volunteer recruitment strategies to attract a diverse range of volunteers.
  • Coordinate volunteer onboarding, training, and scheduling.
  • Maintain volunteer records and ensure accurate documentation of volunteer hours and activities.
  • Foster a positive and supportive volunteer culture by recognising and appreciating volunteers' contributions.
  • Collaborate with the Board to identify volunteer needs and match volunteers with appropriate roles.
  • Organise volunteer appreciation events and recognition programs.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Ability to work well with diverse groups of volunteers and stakeholders.
  • Experience in volunteer management or coordination preferred.
  • Passion for our organisation's mission and a genuine interest in engaging volunteers.
  • Proficiency in using volunteer management software and digital platforms.
