Nishtha Kharb
Vice President
Nishtha brings deep legal expertise spanning over 20 years across Asia's healthcare, life sciences and technology sectors. She has held Chief Legal Officer and senior legal leadership roles at organisations including Philips and IHH Healthcare — Asia's largest private hospital network — where she advised the board on data governance, AI ethics and regulatory strategy through a period of major digital transformation. She is a CIPP/Asia-certified privacy professional, an SID-credentialled director, and a WIPO-appointed mediator.
Nishtha is also an active board and committee leader in her own right. She's Deputy Chair of the Women Directors' Chapter at the Singapore Institute of Directors, and part of the CFA Institute's Inclusion Code committee here in Singapore, both focused on advancing diversity, inclusiveness and women in senior and board roles. She's involved with NTUC's PME community, helping professionals navigate career changes and build new skills, and is Secretary of PA, KBRN, where her work includes mental health advocacy within the community. She's also part of a regional network building community among in-house counsel across the healthcare and life sciences industry in Asia. As she puts it, every organisation she's worked with has taught her the same thing: structure without community doesn't hold, and community without structure doesn't scale.
