Berlinda Gooi
Berlinda is an experienced education and non-profit professional, with expertise in strategic engagement, relationship management and development. She recently worked for Asia Philanthropy Circle, a non-profit membership-based organisation connecting philanthropists from Southeast Asia to create impactful social interventions in the region.
Prior to this, Berlinda has been in the university space – opening the alumni office for INSEAD, and then subsequently helming alumni relations and engagement in Asia-Pacific for Chicago Booth. She then joined SMU to oversee alumni engagement strategy and annual giving – producing marquee events for the alumni community and creating lifecycle programming for students.
Outside Singapore, Berlinda has worn many hats working for organisations providing healthcare services, and immigrant and refugee assistance. She has a BA from Mount Holyoke College in International Relations and an MBA from Zicklin, Baruch College in New York City. She is passionate about connecting people with each other and helping them leverage their education and professional networks.
