Helen Wang

Helen is a counsel in the litigation, insolvency and restricting practice in Cary Olsen. She specialises in complex commercial litigation, shareholder disputes, fraud and investigatory cases and insolvency and restructuring matters. Helen enjoys solving problems, providing strategic and commercial solutions and overcoming the never-ending challenges in dispute resolution practice.

Before moving to Singapore, Helen trained and qualified as a litigator of a magic circle firm and practiced in Hong Kong for over a decade. She is admitted in Hong Kong (also as a solicitor advocate), England & Wales and the Eastern Caribbean Supreme Court (British Virgin Islands). She is also an accredited mediator in Hong Kong. Helen holds a first-class honours law degree awarded by The University of Hong Kong and a Bachelor of Civil Law awarded by the University of Oxford.

Helen is enthusiastic about diversity and inclusion issues and have actively participated in and contributed to various initiatives empowering female professionals. She is an alumnus of the mentorship programme of The Women’s Foundation in Hong Kong and has acted as a committee member of the non-profit organisation Women in Law Hong Kong.
