Responsibilities:

• Plan and organise our monthly 2nd Thursday events, ensuring they are engaging, informative, and aligned with our organisation's goals.
• Collaborate with the Events Director to develop event themes, topics, and formats that resonate with our audience.
• Coordinate with guest speakers and presenters, ensuring a seamless and enriching experience for attendees.
• Manage event logistics, including venue selection, catering, audiovisual setup, and attendee registration.
• Promote and market 2nd Thursday events through various channels, maximising attendance and community engagement.
• Foster relationships with sponsors, partners, and stakeholders to secure support and enhance the quality of our events.
• Continuously evaluate event success and gather feedback to drive improvements and meet attendee expectations.
• Stay updated on industry trends and emerging topics to curate relevant and compelling content for our events.

Qualifications and Attributes:

• Strong event planning and management skills, with experience in organising successful events.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with guest speakers, sponsors, and attendees.
• Proactive and detail-oriented mindset, capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Marketing and promotional experience to effectively promote events and attract a diverse audience.
• Ability to think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the table for event themes and formats.
• Team player with strong leadership skills to collaborate with volunteers and event teams.
