Join Our Team! We're looking out for our next SIG Team Leader.

Are you passionate about facilitating engaging and specialised events? We are seeking a motivated individual to join our team as a SIG Team Leader.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate the Special Interest Groups (SIGs) within our organization.
  • Collaborate with SIG Co-Chairs to plan and organise events that cater to the unique interests and needs of our members.
  • Ensure the relevance and quality of SIG events by liaising with Co-Chairs and guiding them in selecting topics and speakers.
  • Support and mentor Co-Chairs in their roles, providing guidance and resources to ensure successful event execution.
  • Work closely with the Events Director and other team members to align SIG events with the overall event calendar and organisational goals.
  • Promote SIG events to our membership base through various channels, encouraging participation and engagement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and emerging topics related to the SIGs, bringing fresh ideas and insights to the planning process.
  • Foster a collaborative and inclusive environment within the SIGs, encouraging active participation and knowledge sharing.

 

Qualifications and Attributes:

  • Strong organisational and coordination skills, with the ability to manage multiple SIGs and their respective events.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with SIG Co-Chairs, members, and stakeholders.
  • Passion for specialised topics and a keen interest in curating events that cater to our members' diverse interests.
  • Experience in event planning, programming, or related roles, with a track record of successful event execution.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and build relationships with SIG Co-Chairs and other team members.
  • Detail-oriented mindset, ensuring accuracy and professionalism in event planning and execution.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to navigate changing priorities and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
  • Enthusiasm for our organisation's mission and commitment to creating valuable experiences for our members.
