Danielle Bateman is proud of her 15-year tenure with Takeda and was appointed to her current role, Head of Data, Digital and Technology on 01 April 2022.

Danielle is passionate about leveraging data and digital to bring value to patients and their caregivers. She enjoys working with highly talented and dedicated team members who are continuously driving initiatives to improve processes, structures and systems which has helped build her career spanning over two decades. Danielle’s early career as a Naval Officer in the Royal Australian Navy helped shape her leadership skills, work ethic, integrity and teamwork due to being one of the few women on board during her first deployments.

Danielle ventured into the IT industry and worked as an IT Project Manager for Dimension Data before relocating from Australia to Singapore in 2002. First, working for Telstra supporting Data Centre Operations, she later joined the pharmaceutical industry taking up IT roles of increasing responsibilities in the last 15 years.

Danielle holds a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of New England, Australia and a degree in Computer and Information Science from the Defence Force Academy Campus at the University of New South Wales.
