Barefoot Book Club

Book Club

Imagine a cozy, laughter-filled evening where PrimeTime Book Club members gather to dive into stories that inspire, challenge, and spark deep conversation.

Our Book Club community offers an escape where book lovers of all ages and backgrounds connect over tasty snacks and a glass of wine or kombucha, discussing everything from thought-provoking memoirs and powerful fiction to inspiring non-fiction and groundbreaking new releases.

Each session brings a fresh, hand-picked title to explore, whether it's a feminist classic, a debut novel by an emerging author, or a culturally rich memoir. But Book Club isn’t just about books; it’s about connection. It’s a space to share experiences, opinions, and laughter—where discussions can get real, personal, and even life-changing.

With a welcoming atmosphere, our book club is a supportive, inclusive space where new friendships blossom, big ideas are shared, and stories are celebrated.

Whether you’re a seasoned reader or just looking for a community to spark your love of books, PrimeTime Book Club is more than a meeting; it’s a chance to share perspectives, dive deep, and leave inspired every time.

FAQ’s:

  • Where does Book Club meet? Locations vary, but generally members take turns hosting in their homes or in condo function rooms. Once you have registered for the event, you will be added to a book club whatsapp group where we will share the location details for the next meet up.
  • What time do you meet? 7pm to 9pm
  • Do I need to have read the book beforehand? Yes – although you don’t need to have finished it, as long as you don’t mind any plot spoilers!
  • Is it ok if I’ve listened to it as an audiobook? Absolutely – we all live busy lives and many of our members like to listen to the books while multi-tasking.
  • Do I need to bring anything? Since Book Club is a free event, members are encouraged to bring along a snack or beverage to share. We also have a book exchange at each meet up, so you are invited to bring along any old books you’d like to pass on.
